SARA PAGEL

As a functional diagnostic nutrition practitioner with a master’s degree in criminal justice, Sara Pagel empowers helpers to reclaim lost health and vitality by teaching them the greatest model of opt in self-care. She draws the helpers back to themselves by educating them on how to put their mask on first. 2020 was a banner year for Sara as she reclaimed her life from toxic relationships both personally and professionally and started her holistic health coaching practice Thin Line Consulting. With over a decade of direct client hours as a family behavioral therapist, juvenile probation officer, and a 911 dispatcher she brings a variety of skills including accountability, communication, empathy, and strategic problem solving to her clients.

INORU MORRIS
Founder, Midwest Rainbow Research Institute

Inoru Morris (he/him/his) is a University of Kansas PhD student, founder of the Midwest Rainbow Research Institute and a member of the Board of Directors for the Kansas City Center for Inclusion. He received his bachelor’s degree in East Asian Language and Cultures and Global and International Studies at the University of Kansas. Wade attended Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, for two years to research and study the role of the United States in East Asia as it relates to diplomacy. When returning to the United States, Morris obtained his master’s degree in public administration centering studies on issues that affect gender and sexual minorities. He is a subject matter expert for the LGBTQIA community and helps local, state and federal officials write policy and work on LGBTQIA initiatives.

ERIC WINEBRENNER
MARC Public Safety Program Director

Eric Winebrenner is MARC's public safety director in Kansas City. MARC maintains, enhances, and coordinates the regional 911 system as the primary means of access for indivduals who need emergency public safety services. MARC provides all hardware, software, network, 911 database services, mapping services, and training to over 40 public safety answering points covering ten counties in the bistate region. A retired major from the Kansas City, Missouri, Police Department, he commanded the department’s communications unit and communications support unit which provide both 911 call answering and dispatch operations as well as interoperable radio communications. Eric has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice administration from Park University and a master’s degree in business administration from Benedictine College.
