Please join the Mid-America Regional Council and our regional education and workforce partners for the fifth annual Greater KC Workforce and Education Summit. This year’s program will focus on our region’s efforts to foster a talented and highly educated workforce through postsecondary attainment in high-demand fields.

At the summit, we will share information about a new regional post-secondary attainment initiative supported by the Lumina Foundation’s Community Partnership for Attainment program. MARC will release an in-depth report on education and workforce metrics in the Kansas City region. This report’s key metrics set the baseline for our community’s work through this initiative.

Regional education and workforce leaders will share information about strategies to be carried out over the next two years. Learn and discuss how metro Kansas City can improve college and career readiness, college retention, adult learning programs, and data sharing and create stronger partnerships between industry and education.
