Keynote speaker
Susan Koehn is the director of talent initiatives at Milwaukee7 where she focuses on connecting employers in southeast Wisconsin with the right talent supply chain partners to fuel business growth and economic opportunity. She will speak about the Grow Here initiative, an effort to develop and retain young people in southeast Wisconsin and fuel the critical talent needs of industry. The inititative spans seven counties in the Milwaukee area with the intent to expand work-based experiences. To accomplish this, they must work with local partners to connect employers to their future talent pipeline and scale opportunities for experiential learning across the region.
Susan moved to Milwaukee from the Chicago area. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Marquette University, and a Master of Science in Social Work from University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Who should attend?
Representatives from colleges, universities and school districts, K-12 intermediaries, businesses, local governments, civic organizations and others interested in the connections between workforce, education and the regional economy.
The $25 registration fee includes printed copies of MARC's latest workforce reports. For an additional $10, attend a networking lunch after the event. Breakfast is not included in this event.
