SUBJECT: UMKC Screening session for FREE dental care – 1/28; APPT REQD
The UMKC School of Dentistry students are holding a special screening session to solicit patients for our National Boards Exams. Students need two types of patients; one for cavity fillings and the other who has a mild to moderate need for scaling and root planing type of deep cleaning. For your time, you will be reimbursed with free dental services and x-rays during student screenings for and performance during the Boards Exams.
You must qualify under ALL of the following criteria, no exceptions will be accepted.
1. Must be over 18 years old
2. Must be in good overall health
3. Must be reliable for attending your appointments
4. Currently not in braces or fixed orthodontics
5. Do not have any dentures or the need for dentures
6. Over 16 teeth with molar back teeth
7. Not currently receiving chemotherapy or radiation treatment
8. MUST be available Sunday, March 18th and/or Monday, March 19th for a four-hour AM or PM session.
This screening session will be held on Saturday, January 28th from 8:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. There will be a limited number of slots available at each half hour interval until 11:00 a.m. You can schedule your appointment by calling (816) 875-0DDS (0337) or email us at email@example.com. There is no childcare available during the session; children under the age of 14 must be attended to at all times and are not allowed back into the Clinic Screening area. Please plan on being present for one to two hours to be fully screened during the January 28th session.
Please do not attend the screening session if you have acute or severe dental needs; we will not be able to perform any dental services.
