Public Officials Directory database

Every two years, the Mid-America Regional Council publishes a directory of local, state and federal officials serving the Kansas City metropolitan area. In addition to public officials, the directory includes contact information for local chambers of commerce, economic development agencies, public transit services, school districts and news media outlets, as well as a list of current MARC Board members, committee members and staff.

The 2007-2008 directory (current as of May 2007) is available in PDF format.

Most of the information contained in the directory is also available in Microsoft Excel Spreadsheets, by category, to the right. Clicking on these links will bring up 'read-only' versions of the spreadsheets. You may select the data and copy it into a new Excel file of your own for sorting, mail-merging, etc. Please note, some of these spreadsheets contain more than one page; for example, the City Officials file contains a page with officials sorted by city and another sorted by job title.
