Description

--Instance of -- This service package provides dedicated bus lanes during peak demand times to enhance transit operations mobility. An intermittent bus lane is a lane that can change its status from regular lane (accessible for all vehicles) to bus lane, for the time strictly necessary for a bus or set of buses to pass. The status of the IBL is communicated to drivers using roadside message signs and through in-vehicle signage. The creation and removal of dedicated bus lanes is managed through coordination between traffic and transit centers.
