Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan Informational Workshop
Friday, Nov. 19, 9–11 a.m. | Register Today!

The Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) and the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) will host a virtual cybersecurity incident response plan information workshop on Friday, Nov. 19 from 9–11 a.m. This informational workshop will help executive personnel in MARC jurisdictions prepare to craft a cybersecurity incident response plan by reviewing the incident response process, as well as different components and factors they need to consider when developing a plan. It will also allow participants, within their jurisdictional teams, to discuss their own current incident response processes and begin to identify areas for improvement. Lastly, it will provide participants with an opportunity to talk about what resources they need to improve their capability, as well as provide them with resources to get started on an incident response plan.

Who Should Participate?

Any jurisdiction (cities, counties, special districts, hospitals and school districts) in MARC’s 9-county region that is seeking more information on creating a cybersecurity incident response plan. Ideally, those who should participate from each jurisdiction include: chief administrative officer, chief information security officer/CIO, emergency manager.

Registration:

There is no cost to participate in this workshop. However, space is limited and is first come first serve. Additional information will be sent to participants prior to the workshop date. Register here.
