This is a two-day session designed to immerse the participants in the usage and understanding of ICS forms, the Advanced Planning Process, and several other critical advanced planning products and techniques. Using a single customized all hazards scenario participants work to develop an accurate, graded, Incident Action Plan and appropriate adjoining products and displays while encountering a variety of stimulus that are based on real world incidents. Course scenarios are based on the 15 national planning scenarios and address both targets and tasks as outlined by the Department of Homeland Security. This course will discuss the most up to date ICS forms.

Through the use of real case studies and personal experiences managing expanding and complex incidents the workshop addresses position specific checklists, an understanding of the ICS forms and the creation of a professional and accurate written Incident Action Plan.

Target Audience Participants must work in one of the following disciplines: Emergency Management; Emergency Medical Services; Fire Service; Governmental Administrative; Health Care; Hazardous Materials Personnel; Law Enforcement; Public Health; Public Safety Communications; and Public Works.

Prerequisite:  G300 – Intermediate ICS for Expanding Incidents.

This course is sponsored by the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC), and conducted by instructors for The Blue Cell, LLC. Upon successful completion of this course The Blue Cell will issue a completion certificate in coordination with FEMA.

Priority registration is reserved for emergency services personnel in the nine-county Kansas City metropolitan area: Cass, Clay, Jackson, Platte and Ray counties in Missouri and Leavenworth, Johnson, Miami and Wyandotte counties in Kansas. Due to grant requirements, we are not able to accept registrations from outside the states of Kansas or Missouri.
