Improve your public speaking and leadership skills beginning March 17

The Rivergate Club, the Toastmasters group hosted at MARC, will have its inaugural meeting on Monday, March 17, and then begin meeting every other Monday thereafter. Until we are ready to run meetings independently, leaders from Toastmasters District 22 will mentor the Rivergate Club meetings. (No payments are required until we charter the club. More details about dues will be presented at the meeting.)

Toastmasters is more than just a twice-monthly meeting where all participants work on polishing their communication skills. As the tagline says, it's "where leaders are made."

In addition to honing your public speaking and communication skills, you will gain positive experiences in different areas: leading meetings, critiquing others, working as a team, delegating tasks, developing content for presentations and communicating clearly and effectively within groups of people. It's also a chance to regularly connect with fellow employees from other companies in the Rivergate Building.
